I compared this TV to several other brands before I bought it. The features are nice, the picture quality is really good even with analog signal (regular cable), s-video and component inputs make this TV come ALIVE.It fits perfectly under my cabinets in my kitchen. The remote looks basic, but has more one-touch features on it than I'll ever need. The menu is easy to follow, it even has a "plug-n-play" setup.
The casing looks sharp, the connections in the back are great and the sound is excellent. It allows you to automatically adjust the sound if you watch a lot of news channels vs. regular tv. I'm real impressed with the quality as this is my first Samsung product I've ever owned.
I look to combine this with a dvd-vcr combo unit and HDTV cable for ultimate viewing. But right now, I'm totally pleased with the reception coming from regular cable.
I'm also looking to see if I can use the TV's speakers as output from my MP3 player since it has multiple inputs in the back...something to discover later.
